About
us
Mousikè was born from a simple belief: that music can change the way a person grows.
We're not just talking about learning an instrument.
We're talking about learning to listen, to work as a group, to respect
timing, to take responsibility for what you play.
For years now, here in Lamezia Terme, we've been on this journey with
children, teenagers and adults.
We do it every day — in the classroom, in rehearsal, on stage.
Inside the
schools, every
year
Ma che musica maestro
With the "Ma che musica maestro" project we go into the city's state schools and work with hundreds of students.
It's not a one-off workshop.
It's a journey that lasts months and involves teachers, families,
whole classes.
At the end there is always something public — a show, a
public showcase.
But the real work happens beforehand: in the rehearsals, in the relationships, in
each person's growth.
The stage as a meeting point
Every production grows out of months of work.
Musical theatre, concerts, shows.
Students, teachers, sometimes whole families take to the stage.
It's not just a performance.
It's the moment when you can see how far they've come.
It's the moment when a young person realises they can do it.
And that stays with them.
Music belongs
to everyone
Over the years we've worked with young people with disabilities, with those struggling to find their place, and with families in vulnerable situations.
Music creates a common language.
It puts everyone on the same level: faced with an instrument, with
a rhythm, with a voice.
That's where something important happens.
Without fanfare. Without labels.
Today
Today Mousikè is a school, yes.
But it's also a place in the city.
A place to grow, to learn, to share.
We carry on doing what we've always done:
working with dedication, with passion, with the belief that music
really can shape the future of those who embrace it.
